O'Byrne is a lifelong musician and writer that blends multiple influences of style in his songwriting. His sound is often described as Hank Williams meets Nick Drake, and also is influenced by his love of traditional folk music, mariachi, and early 20th century blues. He came to this sound after performing off and on for punk rock and metal bands in Austin, TX.
Along with his original works, he is known to burst into acoustic reinventions of classic punk rock songs, classic country songs early folk and blues, songs from his new music project "Songs about Trains".
